Dallas Elwood Vance, 59, passed away surrounded by his family, on August 6th, 2018, at Bower's Hospice House. He was born in Layland, WV.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherley Eller and Stepfather Isaac, as well as his brother, James, sister Rosalee, and grandparents Homer and Allie Smith.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Dallas Vance Jr., grandchildren Bentley and Bella rose Vance, step-grandchildren Jayci, Hunter and Jordie. He will also be missed by his sisters, Ethel White (Mike) and Myrrl Gibson (Carlos), brother, Donald Vance (Deloris). His many nieces and nephews his special cousin Ieva Wheeler and special friend Romeo Adkins will also cherish their time with him.
Dallas Loved hanging out with his family and friends and shooting pool. He was a proud Marine and worked in the construction industry and loved hunting and fishing in the great outdoors.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 1:00 pm,at High Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior and burial will take place at Smith Family Cemetery in Layland, WV.

Im so very sorry for your loss .Ive known Dallas since i was 18 .He was a good guy .I met his son at shoneys .The loss of a loved one is very painful .i pray God eases your pain .

So sorry for your lost. I wish I could be there for you all but my son Brian is in the hospital. I am praying for comfort for you all love you all.
