Deborah Lynne Richmond, 65, of Hinton, WV, passed away the evening of August 2, 2017.
Deborah was born in Hinton, WV on February 4, 1952. She was a 1969 graduate of Hinton High School. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Kerry Richmond of Bluefield, VA; her brothers: Gene Richmond of Richmond, VA; Harold Richmond of Hinton, WV; Freddie Richmond of Cumberland, VA; Jimmy Richmond of Hinton, WV; and Danny Richmond of Hinton, WV; her sisters: Gloria Grimmett of Hinton, WV; Freda Pennington of Princeton, WV and numerous other loving family and friends.
Deborah was preceded in death by her sister: Betty Lou Richmond, father: George Richmond, mother: Berthal Richmond, brother: Robert Richmond, and sister: Flora Cyrus.
The family has honored Deborah's request that she be cremated with no public services to be held. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Deborah's memory to the Summers County Loving Hearts Team, 4951 Elk Knob Road, Hinton, WV 25951.
The family of Deborah Lynne Richmond wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Tazewell Community Hospital and Heritage Hall in Tazewell, VA as well as those at New Century Hospice in Wytheville, VA for their care, compassion, and support shown to Deborah and her family. A special thank you to Tracy Richmond for all of the love and kindness shown to my mother and for always being there through this
extremely difficult time.
The Richmond family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory & Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
