Dennis James Hatfield
Dennis James Hatfield, age 64, of Beckley, WV, passed away at his home from a long illness on Friday, February 14, 2020.
Born December 21, 1955, he was the son of the late James and Cora Farley Hatfield.
Dennis was a member of Truth Assembly Ministries Church in Beckley. He was a retired coal miner and an avid sports fan.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Betty Milam and Hettie Snapp, and a brother, Ronald Hatfield.
He is survived by his children, Carlos West, Cristyn Caron, Ashley Traybor and Dustin Hatfield, as well as his grandchildren, Nikki Caron, Karlee Coleman, Jailyn Caron, Andrew West, Katelyn West, Jackson Traybor, Declan Traybor and Aiyden Hatfield who was coming into this world as Dennis was crossing over; his sisters, Lois Roach, Linda Keaton, Cora Sue Monk, Brenda Lively and his twin Debbie Morgan; his brother and pastor, Hibbard Hatfield.
Service will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2020, at Truth Assembly Ministries, 1002 Dry Hill Rd, Beckley, with his brother Pastor Hibbard Hatfield and Evangelist Mike Monk officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 12 pm until service time on Monday.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Truth Assembly Ministries, 113 Springwood Ln, Beckley, WV 25801.

Cleve , you were one of my best friends ever I loved you like a brother so sorry I found out about your death too late to be there just wait for me I’ll see you soon we have a lot of catching up to do just know my heart is broken I’ve prayed many prays for you and I’ll hold you in my heart forever so good night my friend I’ll see you in the morning looking forward to it love you forever!!!

Dennis was a great friend to grow up with, work with, and bowl with. We had great times together, and will be missed dearly.
