Dennis Dale Webb, 65, of Mill Creek, went to be with Lord suddenly at his home on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, after returning from a trip to the Holy Land. He saw the ancient city, now he stands in the presence of God who made it.
Born March 22, 1952 in Pineville, he was the son of the late Earl and Pauline Hatfield Webb.
Dennis was a coal miner for 27 years, working at the Pinnacle Mines, and Kopperston Mines. He last worked as a truck driver, before his retirement. He was a longtime member of the Brenton Church of God. Dennis was an avid bow hunter, he enjoyed working around out in his yard, gardening, he was an avid reader, enjoyed studying his bible, and most of all loved spending time with his wonderful family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Joey Dean Webb.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 47 years Patsy Moody Webb, His two sons, Keith Eric Webb and wife Tara of Grandview, Kyle Duane Webb and wife Lisa of Beckley. 4 grandchildren Alex, Caroline, Ian, and Owen. His brother Danny Earl Webb of Meadow Bluff, and his best friend Tim Gibson of Oceana, and a host of family, friends, and church family.
A memorial service will be held at 5pm Sunday September 17, 2017 at the Brenton Church of God with Pastor Lee Fischer officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 3pm until service time on Sunday at the church.
In keeping with Dennis's wishes, he will be cremated.
