Donald Gardner, age 75, of Maple Fork, WV, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.
Born on April 8, 1942 at Laurel Creek, WV, he was the son of the late Cecil and Rosetta Ward Gardner.
After serving in the US Army, Mr. Gardner was a truck driver for over forty years at Austin Powder. He was currently employed by Cramer Security and was a member of Terry Independent Church for many years.
Mr. Gardner was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine Cozart Gardner, by two brothers, Paul and Lee Gene Gardner, and by a sister Nancy.
Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his brother, Ronald of Layland, WV, and a sister Debbie Ayers and husband Dennis of Layland. He will be greatly missed and he was deeply loved by many nephews, nieces, and by a very special step grandson, Tyler, along with many other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at 2 PM, with Pastor Earl Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at Harrah Cemetery, Backus Mountain, WV.
Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post #32 Honor Guard.
