Donzal was born in Hunt, West Virginia on November 18, 1932 to Theodore Gussie Morgan and Georgie Davis Thompson. Working hard and earning the position of General Mine foreman and General Superintendent for many years. Donzal worked at Radio Shack in Gilbert with his brother "Buddy" for several years, he was also manager of the Radio Shack at Pikeville, Kentucky.
