Doraline W. Moore, 81, of Rainelle, passed away Monday, August 6, 2018, in the Peyton Hospice House, Fairlea, following a short illness.
Born December 22, 1936, in Rainelle, she was the daughter of the late Richard S. and Edith Morgan Quick.
Doraline was a graduate of Rainelle High School; Athens Johnson Business College, Athens, Georgia; and the Community Memorial Hospital School of Practical Nursing, South Hill, Virginia. She retired an L.P.N. last working for Home Care Plus.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband James H. Moore; 2 sons Michael and Jeffery Gearhart; and 1 sister Elizabeth Fink.
Survivors include her loving daughter Ellen McCutcheon and husband James "Blue" of Big Mountain, Rupert; her sister Joan Burns of Rainelle; 3 grandchildren, Michelle Gearhart of Georgia, Patrick and Sean McCutcheon, both of Rupert; 1 great-granddaughter, Brittany Baker; and other extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 19, in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville, with Pastor Troy George officiating.
