Edna Mae Lilly
Edna Mae Lilly, 99, of McRoss (47 years), last 3 years in Quinwood, with daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Denver McClung passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Greenbrier Valley Hospital following a short illness.
Born on June 21, 1920, at Clintonville, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Sally Ann Loudermilk.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Lilly; son, James Leo Lilly; grandsons, Billy Joe Greer, John and Kelly Dennison, Travis Tyler and a great-great grandchild, Andrew Harper; son-in-law's, Kenneth Dennison, Lucky Greer and Odie Gibson; sisters, Carrie Loudermilk, Eva Shortridge and Ardena Loudermilk; 6 brothers, Clarence, Carl, Arvel, Thurmond, Ralph and baby boy Loudermilk.
Edna enjoyed quilting, gardening, flowers, collecting salt and pepper shakers (over 3,000 sets) and playing cards (which she never lost).
Those left to cherish her memory are a son, Lawrence (Rosie) Loudermilk of Meadow Creek; daughters, Dorothy (Denver) McClung , Shirley Gibson of Quinwood; grandchildren, Connie (Cameron) Goins, Jay (Julie) Loudermilk, Brenda (Jay) Welch, Jeff (Teresa) Greer, Cyndi (Tony) Burkett, Danny (Tracy) McClung, Andy (Debbie) Dennison, Lee (Carla) Dennison, Willie (Lisa) Dennison, Louise (Bryon) Shortridge, Odie (Stephanie) Gibson, Jessie (Joe) Gibson; 41 great grandchildren; 33 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2019 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle, with Pastor Bennie Kenney officiating. Burial will follow at the Sunrise Chapel Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may 1:00 until time of service at the funeral home.
