Effice's Story

Effice Therman Williams, 74, of Pax passed away Friday, January 5, 2018, in a Beckley hospital.
Born August 19, 1943, in Clear Creek, he was the son of the late Sherman Jack and Orifice Lottie Williams.
Effice was a retired coal miner and part of the UMWA.
He is preceded in death by three brothers: Ronald, Glen, and Donald Williams, and one sister: Millie Wilson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving and devoted wife Loretta Turner Williams, three sons: David Williams (Stephanie), Sherman Williams (Crystal), and Jeffrey Williams, eight grandchildren: Abby, Luke, Austin, Christiana, Caroline, Kaleb, Jacob, and Raegan, and one brother: Rick Williams.
Graveside service will be 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at Willis Branch Community Cemetery in Pax with Pastor Dwayne Williams officiating. Visitation for friends will be held 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
