They were married at First Christian Church in Beckley. She was off to many adventures as a Navy wife. She raised 5 children and had a full and exciting life. They eventually made their home in Lakeland, FL. She spent many wonderful sunny years before coming back to where she always considered home, West Virginia. Janice was a helpful and caring sister, loving and wise mother, warm and inviting grandmother, fun and exciting great grandmother and gentle and generous great-great grandmother. She adored her nieces and nephews like they were her own. She loved children. She was always on the go and up for a road trip at the drop of a hat. Janice was someone that never met a stranger and always stepped up to help countless family members when they needed it. She always said "the fuller the house the better".
