Elijah Eccles Lilly
Elijah Eccles Lilly, age 59, of White Oak, WV, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born on January 25, 1960 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Boyd Gordon Lilly and Rosenell Bragg Lilly.
Elijah enjoyed gardening, collecting quarters and calendars and celebrating birthdays.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Larry Gordon Lilly, a half-brother, Boyd Junior Lilly, and a half-sister, Judy Lilly.
Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Yvonne Washburn of Oak Hill, Sarah Harvey and husband David of Daniels, and William Dale Lilly and wife, Sherri of Lewisburg; a half-sister, Margaret Lilly of Beckley; special aunt and uncle who helped care for Elijah, Glenna and Ron Meadows of White Oak; an uncle, Granville Bragg of Irish Mountain; nieces and nephews, Elisabeth Hess and husband Tom, Zach Washburn, Priscilla Griffith and husband Matt, Justin Scarafino and wife Melissa, David Harvey Jr. and wife Annalee, Kelli Lilly, William Lilly II, Lisa Lilly, Ronnie Lilly, and Kenny Lilly; several great nieces, great nephews and cousins also survive.
Services will be conducted at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 11AM with Pastor Larry Cochran officiating. Burial will follow at Russ Lilly Cemetery on Blue Jay Six Road, Cool Ridge, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 6 PM until 9 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Elijah was a very special person.
