Gaynell Windon Radcliff
Born on July 6, 1937, in Sullivan, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ollie Clifton Windon and Ollie Mae Perkins Windon.
Mrs. Radcliff was a homemaker, and had made her home in Sophia for the past 55 years. She loved sports, especially the Atlanta Braves. Mrs. Radcliff enjoyed taking care of her children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James E Radcliff; by five brothers and two sisters.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her children: George Dolinger and Susan of Coal City, Linda Sizemore and husband James of Sophia, Roby Wayne Dolinger and wife Deborah of Beckley, Carolyn Simon of St. Petersburg, FL, Cindy Gillespie and husband Rick of Beckley, Norma Radcliff and husband Jimmy of Midway, Joyce Lawson and husband Robert of Virginia, and Nathain Dolinger and wife Teresa of Grandview.
Seventeen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at 11AM with Rev. Richard Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be James Sizemore, Rick Gillespie, Jimmy Radcliff, Robert Lawson, Tim Sizemore, Roby Wayne Dolinger Jr., Gerald Simon, and Daniel Snuffer Jr. Private online condolences and other expressions of sympathy may be directed to the family via our guestbook at www.roseandquesenberry.net. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southern WV, P.O. Box 1472, Beckley, WV 25802, in memory of Gaynell Dolinger Radcliff. The family extends special thanks to the nurses of Hospice of Southern WV for their excellent care. Arrangements are by Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home, 1901 South Kanawha Street, Beckley, WV.
