On October 4, 2017, Ginger Carole Meadows, went home to be with the LORD.
Ginger was born March 21, 1965 in Beckley, WV, and was a lifelong resident.
She had a bubbly, electric personality and loved making people laugh. A friend of the family said of Ginger, "she always knew how to make you smile or laugh, sometimes even when you didn't want to."
Ginger loved to write and was the proud author of several "clean romance" novels, a genre she considered herself "queen" of. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Kem; two sons, Joshua and Jeremy; parents, John and Brenda Adkins; brothers, John and Anthony Adkins and numerous extended family members and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Sprague Free Will Baptist Church with Skee Barley officiating (in jeans and a football jersey at Ginger's request). Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the church on Saturday.
Contributions in memory of Ginger may be made to Leaf Ministries Academy Graduate Bible Program, P.O. Box 362, Stanaford, WV 25927; or the Sprague Free Will Baptist Church Youth Ministry, 810 Ewart Ave, Beckley, WV 25801.
Private online condolences and other expressions of sympathy may be directed to the family via our guestbook at www.roseandquesenberry.net.
Arrangements are by Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home, 1901 South Kanawha Street, Beckley, WV.
