Greeley Andrew Wyatt
Greeley Andrew Wyatt, 92, of Roanoke, Va., died on Friday, February 1, 2019. He was born on May 17, 1926, in Wyoming County, W.Va.
Greeley is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Lorna Wyatt; his sister, Beulah Whitt; his children, Andrew Wyatt and his wife Jenny, Jim Carter and his wife Lynn, Joy Parrish, and Julie Berry and her husband, Richard; his grandchildren, Maddy Wyatt, Jimmy Carter, Jared Carter, Becca Parrish, Annie Parrish, Amanda Berry, and Chris Berry; and many nieces and nephews including Jeanette Bandy and Dale Cook.
After a long and successful career with Norfolk Southern, Greeley lived out his faith through more than 30 years of volunteer service with Habitat for Humanity and the Appalachian Service Project.
Services will be held at Cave Spring Baptist Church in Roanoke, Va., on Friday, February 8, 2019, with visitation at 10:15 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley, 3435 Melrose Ave., Roanoke, VA 24017 to continue the work he held so dear.
