I worked with Jewell in Pineville at DHHR. We were closer than friends. We were non blood related family. I loved Jewell and she is missed. I am sure she is at peace, with her loved ones, and mine, who have entered heaven's gates and are at rest. My love, and prayers are with her family. I pray God holds each, and every one, of you lovingly in his arms where you may find comfort until we all see Jewell again.

I went to Mark Twain with Jewell and we graduated the same year. She was a very sweet and nice person. I was very saddened to hear of her passing. My prayers go out to Lana and the rest of her family. I have very good memories of Jewell and of Lana. When I lived in Cuyahoga Falls I ran into both of them. It was like no time had passed. She was a very special person.

Jewell and "Roc" were there for me the year Frank was in Nam. Don't know what I'd have done without them She had an endless love for everyone. I remember one year, we made rum balls and sent them to Frank He said it was the only cookie he'd ever had that needed a chaser. Good memories of a good friend. You are loved and will be missed

Jewel was a very special person and loyal friend. I never thought that I would never see her again. I will always regret not reaching out to find her after I moved.
I hope her family finds comfort in knowing others care and that she is at peace.
Wish I could be with you. Lena
