Joseph Edward "Joe" Holley, age 91, of Beckley, WV, died Friday, March 2, 2018, at Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Born on February 12, 1927, in Shooten Creek, Virginia, he was the son of the late Doc and Ruby Woolwine Holley.
Mr. Holley worked as a truck manager for Grady Whitlock Ford in Beckley.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Deloris "Doe" Holley of 54 years, and a grandson-in-law, Steve Harrah. Mr. Holley was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Gene Holley, and one sister, Emmay Jane Stacy.
Surviving are his sons, Jody Holley and his wife, Brenda, of Daniels, Kenny Holley and his wife, Linda, of Beckley, and Larry Holley and his wife, Shasta, of Grandview; two daughters, Becky Bowden and her husband, Jack, of Grandview, and Kathy Berry and her husband, Tim Elwood Berry of Daniels; grandchildren, Mike Holley, Christy Jones, Tammy Harrah, Chris Berry, Brent
Holley, and T. J. Berry; great grandchildren, Madison Priddy, Makenzie Holley, Garrett and Emily Jones, Zach Harrah, Abigail and Eliza Berry; and an extended family member who was like a son to him, Phil Williams of Navarre, Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Monday, March 5, 2018, at 2 PM with Rev. Jackie Quesenberry officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Chris and T. J. Berry, Garrett Jones, Zach Harrah, Mike Holley and Matt Jones.
