Judith (Judy)'s Story

Judith (Judy) Ann Terry Brown, 77, of Oak Hill WV died Sunday Dec 31, 2017 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley WV. She was comforted and surrounded by her family whom she loved and cherished.
Born May 20, 1940 in Oak Hill WV, she was the daughter of the late Pansy Myrtle Roles Terry.
Judy was a former local business owner who loved making people laugh with her witty charm. Her hobbies were baking, gardening, puzzling and quilting. Many of her beautiful quilts were given to friends and family as a token of her love and affection.
Her sister, Joan Terry Hodge, preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Trina Jarrett and husband Bruce of Oak Hill WV, Gina Brown and wife Lisa of Rock Hill, SC. Sister Elsie Morris of Lynchburg Va, brothers Gene Terry of Chicago Il and Ray Terry of Oak Hill WV. She also had three grandchildren that were her pride and joy, Taylor Jarrett Holt, Tyler Jarrett and Hunter Robertson.
Her daughters would like to give thanks to Judy Bolen and Martha Hagar of Central WV Aging. They would like to thank Yvette Dufour for taking such good care of their mother over the past few years. Also, they would like to thank the staff at Bowers Hospice House for their professional caring efforts.
Following her wishes her body was donated to the Human Gift Registry of West Virginia University. There will be no memorial service.
Any memorials may be made to The Bowers Hospice House in Beckley WV in her name.
