Lola May Wyatt Cook, 65, of Princeton, WV, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at The Maples, Bluefield, WV. She was born on March 25, 1952, in Robinette, WV, a daughter of the late William and Billy Jean Mikles Wyatt. Lola was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law Rev. Loren and Elsie Mae Cook. Survivors include her loving husband of 24 years Jerry Alden Cook; four children Teresa Walker of Man, Charles White of Mobile, AL, Tammy Walls of Peoria, IL, and Rosanna Morgan of Princeton; five siblings Mary Treadway of Homerville, GA, Pat Richardson of Kingsport, TN, Joseph Wyatt of Hanover, David Wyatt of Taplin and Gerald Wyatt of Beckley; six grandchildren Tawanna Simmons and Anthony Byrd both of Mobile, AL, Olicia Conner of Peoria, IL, Cassandra Knight of Southbend, IN, Michael Walls of Mobile, AL, and Cailin Morgan of Lafollette, TN; four great grandchildren Alex Byrd of Mobile, AL, Dakota Knight of South Bend, IN, Macie May Knight of South Bend, IN, and Charlie Simmons of Oceana; her precious dog Gypsy May; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 11, 2017, at the Glen Fork Church of God, Glen Fork, WV, with Pastor Darrell Stapleton officiating. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 6-8:00 PM on Sunday, December 10, 2017, at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
