Marguerite 'Marge' Wyatt Perdue Foster Marge Foster, 92, passed away on Sunday, Feb 3, 2019 in Kingsport, TN.
She was born on May 17, 1926 in Jonben, West Virginia to Gentry Victor Wyatt and Mary Jane Vannoy Wyatt.
Marge graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and attended Beckley College. She was a former member of the Education Department of the Beckley Women's Club and a state life member of Phymosia Garden Club. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Beckley, WV. She volunteered at Bowers Hospice House.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Jack H. Perdue in 1955 and her second husband Eugene R. Foster in 2006. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Nell Wyatt (infant),Loraine Houchins, Bernice Smith, Doris Price, Elizabeth Hancock, Betty Larew and Jeanette Meador; by her brother Warren L. Wyatt.
She is survived by her children Paula Perdue Poe and husband J.D.; John Perdue and wife Beverley; Richard Foster and wife Mary Ann. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Melissa Simmons, David Poe, Greg Perdue, Dylan Foster and Evan Foster. Great grandchildren are Erica Simmons, Jack Simmons, Lily Perdue, Sam Perdue, Olive Perdue and Noah Poe. Her brother G.V. Wyatt of Plantation, FL also survives.
She has lived happily for the past five years at Preston Place Suites in Kingsport, TN. where she was pampered and spoiled by the wonderful staff. Her family appreciates the love and care she received.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Feb 23, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Beckley. Visitation will be at 1:00 and the service will follow at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia, Inc., PO Box 1472, Beckley, WV 25802-1472.
