Mildred Pearl Livesay King, 101, of Frankford, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at Peyton Hospice House, after a short illness.
Born Dec. 16, 1916, at Frankford, she was the daughter of the late James Guy and Grace Burgess Livesay.
Mrs. King was a life member of the Frankford Methodist Church in Frankford. She was owner/operator of the Frankford Store Company for over 40 years. She was a member of the Lewisburg Chapter #108 Order of the Eastern Star for 65 years and served as past Worthy Matron. She was a charter and honorary member of the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. She served for 38 years as Greenbrier Democratic Executive Committee Member.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Oscar Lee King; brother, Carl Keith Livesay; sister-in-law, Martha Harrison Livesay, and son-in-law, Brad Buckland.
She is survived by son, James A. King (Jean) of Maxwelton; daughters, Mary Buckland of White Sulphur Springs and Patricia Sattarzadeh (Bozzy) of Clifton, Virginia; brother Guy Walter Livesay of Frankford; grandchildren, Kimberly King, James L. King (Linda) John O. Chapman (Carrie), Hassan L. Sattarzadeh (Sara), Jahan F. Sattarzadeh; great-grandchildren, Griffin, Karly, and Kyle King, Autumn Helsinger (Garrett), Ian Chapman, and Savannah Gill; and great-great-granchild, Natalie Gill.
Service 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, at McCraw Funeral Home, Lewisburg, with Pastor Phillip Hickman officiating. Burial in Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg.
Visitation two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
