Olin V. Haynes
Olin V. Haynes, 84, of Russellville, passed away late Wednesday night, January 15, 2020 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley.
Born on June 2, 1935 at Russellville, he was the son of the late Lawrence Orion Haynes and Myrtle Susan Nutter Haynes.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 sons, Gene and Johnny; 6 sisters and 1 brother.
Olin was a US Army veteran, a miner for 35 years and he was a farmer all his life. He loved to listen to Bluegrass music.
Survivors include his wife, Leota Jones Haynes of Russellville; 3 daughters, Deborah (David) Bean of Gainesville, Georgia, Arlene (David) Dolin of Richmond, Virginia, Lois (Eric) Bays of Nallen; 1 son, Kevin (Stephanie) Haynes of Hico; 11 grandchildren, Amy Gee, Amanda Silva, Samantha Smith, Chris Bean, Josh Dolin, Jonathan Dolin, Clara Dolin, Kaitlyn Haynes, Allison Haynes, Anthony Bays, Sarah Bays; 10 great grandchildren, Mason, Grayson, Carson, Gavin, Olivia, John Michael, Willow, Tucker, Carter and Shelby; he also leaves behind his dog, Rowdy.
Service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 20, 2020 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle with Rev. Bob Nolen and Pastor Allen Donaldson officiating. Burial will follow at Cemetery Hill, Russellville with military graveside rights by the US Army. Friends may call from 6-8 Sunday evening at the funeral home.
