Patricia Ann Farr, age 65, formerly of Coal City, entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at her home surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Patricia was born on August 29, 1952 in Beckley, WV, daughter of the late Brady Adkins and Bonnie Holland. She was a housekeeper for hospice, taking care of her mother who was very important to her. Patricia enjoyed spending time with family, car ride adventures, and playing cards.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law: Syvilla (Kevin) Lipski and Jennifer Skattebo; one son Guy Strzyzewski Jr. ; three granddaughters: Brittany Luckow (special friend Jovan Golden), Arianna Strzyzewski, Samantha Thompson; four grandsons: Hunter and Hayden Skattebo, Christopher Strzyzewski, Brandon Luckow (special friend Kenya Simon); one great granddaughter: Serenity Grace Golden; five brothers and four sisters-in-law: Clifton "Dutch" Adkins (special friend Ruth Gill), Shirley Adkins, Darrell (Martha) Adkins, Harold (Sharon) Adkins, Orville "Shorty" (Norma) Adkins, and Dewey Adkins. She is also survived by her uncle Golden Wills, aunt Pauline Wills and her uncle Ed Ream and aunt Geneva Ream as well as many nieces, nephews, and a longtime friend Helen James. She was preceded in death by her parents: Brady Adkins and Bonnie Holland and two brothers: Homer Adkins and Bob Adkins.
The family will greet relatives and friends during a memorial service for pat on April 28th, 2018 at 12:00p.m. at Cales Chapel in Coal City.
