Patty Sue Vandall
Born May 14, 1945, at Meadow Bridge, she was the daughter of the late Jasper and Pearl Fox Gwinn.
Patty was a very creative person who really enjoyed painting. She loved her family, but will be remembered for her devotion and care for her late husband "Harpo" David Vandall.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by 2 brothers Richard "Snookie" and Bill Gwinn; and 2 sisters Kathleen and Jean Mullins.
Survivors include her daughters April Hope of Stuart, Florida and Donna Ware and husband Todd of Concord, North Carolina; 6 brothers Bobby Gwinn and Janice, Roger Gwinn and Sandy, Tommy Gwinn and Doris, Jimmy Gwinn and Connie, Kenneth "Pinky" Gwinn, all of Meadow Bridge, and Jackie Gwinn and Donna of Tennessee; 1 sister and best friend Lena Mullins of Danese; 3 grandchildren Zoe Kirk, Riley Kirk, and Cameron Ware; 1 great-grandson Lawson Newman; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, in the Meadow Bridge United Methodist Church with Pastor Dean Manning officiating.
Burial will follow in the David Gwinn Cemetery, Lane School Road, Meadow Bridge.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 12 - 1 p.m. at the church.
