Paula Annette DeGumba, 48 of Oak Hill, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Bowers Hospice House following an extended illness.
Born September 3, 1968 to Elmer "John" and Delpha Bennett of Fayetteville.
Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Elmer and Ernestine Bennett and maternal grandparents, Albert and Virginia O'Dell; brother-in-law, Mason Wilson.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband of 17 years, Michael DeGumba of Oak Hill; daughter, Haley DeGumba of Oak Hill who is due in November with Paula's first grandchild; step-son, John DeGumba of NC; sisters, Pam Bennett of Fayetteville and Penny Wilson of Ansted; nephews, Joseph Wilson and Paul Wright; nieces, Emily Joines, Shelby and Jennifer Wilson, also Kaitlyn Wright; great-niece, Raven Joines; mother and father-in-law, Michael and Barbara DeGumba of Raleigh, NC; sister-in-law, Susan Wright; brother-in-law, David DeGumba (Lisa) of FL.
Funeral services for Paula will be conducted at 1pm Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Pastor Danny Goins officiating. In keeping with Paula's final wishes, she will be cremated after the services.
