Roger Harold Hodson, 76, of Nice Street, Princeton, died Saturday, February 10, 2018 at his residence.
Born April 28, 1941 in Maben, WV he was the son of the late Eugene A. Hodson and the late Wilma "Kethel" Sizemore Hodson.
Upon graduating Glen Rogers High School in 1959, Roger proudly served his country in the US Army for 4 years during the Berlin Crisis.
Roger would return home to work for the Maple Meadows Mining Company for 29 years as a machinist and welder.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Franklin Sizemore.
Roger is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Phyllis Ann Maynor Hodson; daughters, Stephanie Hodson Trump and spouse, Tommy, of Flat Top, and Jennifer Hodson, of Princeton;
Grandson, Andrew Trump; Sisters, Linda Milam, of Beckley, and Rose Mary Tolliver, of Warner Robbins, GA; Brother, Roland Sizemore and spouse, Betty, of Warner Robbins, GA; Sister-In-Law, Shelia Sizemore, of Glen Fork; Brothers-In-Law, Pete Maynor and spouse, Tabby, of Oceana, Timmy Maynor, of Oceana; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Mt. Tabor Davis Addition Cemetery, Raleigh County, with Pastor Marvin Mills officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside need to meet at the cemetery before service hour.
