Shirley Jean Noah, 76, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2016 in Lexington, Kentucky.
She was born on May 5, 1941 in Mullens, West Virginia, to the late Powell J. and Marie Ida Beverly Ellis. Shirley was nurse, a Quality Assurance Surveyor for hospital accreditation, and a member of First Christian Church in Lexington.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Kenneth Noah.
Survivors include a son, Jeff (Christy) Noah of Kingsport, TN; a brother, Jim (Yolanda) Ellis of Chicago, IL; two sisters, Margie Martin of Mullens, WV and Lynda (Michael) Farley of Beaver, WV; four grandchildren, Adam (Ashley) Noah and Katelyn, Kylie and Andrew Noah; and two great grandchildren, Baylor and Emmerson Noah.
There will be a Funeral Service on Thursday, September 28 at 2:00pm at First Christian Church, 1305 Audubon Ave, Lexington, KY 40503. Visitation will be at the church from 12pm - 2pm. Entombment will be in Beckley, WV at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
