Sue  Bryant


Sue Bryant, age 72, of Shady Spring, WV, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019, at her home following a sudden illness.
Born on December 13, 1946, at Bolt, WV, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Wright and Gladys Durham Wright.
Sue was a retired employee of Heiner's Bakery, and attended Open Door Church at Shady Spring. Sue enjoyed being around her special pet Lucy, and loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Bryant.
Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her children: Angella Foley Petty and husband Bob of Maryville, TN, Karen Petitt of Princeton, Kevin Bryant of Tallahassee, FL, Scott Bryant and his wife Kim of Shady Spring, and Jennifer Vest and husband Keith of Cool Ridge.
Four brothers: Sam Wright and wife Ginger of Daniels, Millard Wright and wife Sandra of Beckley, Arthur Wright and wife Terry of MacArthur, and David Wright and his wife Eleanor of Midway.
A sister, Nancy Armstrong of Franklin, IN; Grandchildren, Steven Bryant and Elizabeth Sue Petty of Maryville, TN, Kelsey Vest and Jacob Vest of Cool Ridge, and Hope Bryant of Shady Spring.
Friends may visit with the family from 6 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel, with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 8 PM. Pastor Don Kelly will officiate. Graveside rites and burial will be Wednesday morning, September 11, 2019, at 11AM at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, WV. Pallbearers will be Bob Petty, Steven Bryant, Jason Croy, Mark Armstrong, Matthew Wright, and Todd Wright.
