Sylvia Gale Bagley Collins, 68, of Beckley, passed quietly into eternal rest on Saturday, October 27, 2018 after a short illness.
The eighth child born to the Jack and Arlene Stancil Bagley, she was the twin sister to Sylvester Bagley.
Sylvia was a very fiery and affectionate person, she attended school at Springton Elementary school in Springton, WV, before moving to Beckley, she continue her education at East Beckley and Stratton High School.
Sylvia was united in marriage to Ronald Claytor, one child was born to this union the late Ronald Claytor Jr.,, later she married Sgt. Collins.
She was employed in Beckley, WV and Vidalre, GA, before she retired and moved back to Beckley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Claytor,Jr., two brothers, Willie Bagley and James (Lenny) Bagley.
Sylvia leaves to cherish her precious memories; two children, Melissa (Armando) Bagley and Clifford Bagley; three sisters, Jacqueline Jones of Beckley, Beverlyn Hairston of Philadelphia, PA and Connie (Benny) Belton; two brothers, twin brother Sylvester Bagley and Lewis Bagley Jr., Philadelphia, and a host of
nieces, nephew, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Service will be Saturday at 1:00 pm, Saturday, Nov. 3, at Outreach for Christ Christian Center, officiating Rev. Thomas Steelman and Rev Walter M. Leach. Friends may call one hour prior to funeral services and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
