Terry L. Tyler Sr., 75, of Aurora, Ohio, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 after a battle with cancer.
He had worked as a coal miner for 15 years and then retired as a machinist at the age of 55. Terry was a handyman, a real Mr. Fix-it, who enjoyed helping others. He loved fishing and hunting; was an avid Steelers fan, and a member of the Star of Bethlehem Church in Aurora; but especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Terry is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Judy (nee Angle); his children, Tim (Tonna), Tom (Sarah), and Shelly Brock (David); grandchildren, Stephanie, Travis, Chloe, Emily, David, and Kaitlyn; and siblings, Keith, Charlene Spencer (Orrville), and Dotty Harris (Lee).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Cora; son, Terry Jr.; and brothers, Darrell and Alden.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 14 at the Freedom Baptist Church, 2161 Fixler Rd., Medina, Ohio, from 11:30am until the funeral service at 12noon. Burial with military honors will follow at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, OH.
