Timothy's Story

Tim Richmond, age 82, of Daniels, WV, started eternity on Friday, November 24, 2017.
He was born at Blue Jay, WV, to the late Wayne O. Richmond and Pauline Hart Richmond on February 1, 1935.
Tim served in the US Army in France from 1955 to 1958. He loved working with his hands, and excelled at landscaping, wood work, motor repair, and was an excellent cook. He built his home in Daniels one log at a time.
Tim was very serious about being the provider-protector of those he loved. He was a beloved man, father, father-in-law, paw paw, great-paw paw, son, husband, brother-in-law, neighbor, and friend.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda Cadle Richmond, and three sons: Timothy O. Richmond II, and wife Donica, of Huntsville, AL, Michael Lee Richmond of Taylorsville, NC, and Joshua David Richmond and his companion Chrystal Meador of Fitzpatrick. He is survived by granddaughters: Miranda Gail Richmond, Lexie Diane Meador Richmond, Ava Grace Richmond, and a very special great granddaughter, Cora Lee Haun.
Tim is also survived by siblings: Patty Martin, Janet Mann, Diana Barnett, Roger Richmond, Karen Hatcher, and Wayne Richmond.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia S. Richmond, precious granddaughter, Jordan Marie Richmond, and by siblings, Barbara Helen Clower and Gary Rexford Richmond.
Tim is a man of faith and a long standing member of Daniels Missionary Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the benevolent fund of Daniels Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at Daniels Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, November 27, 2017, at 1 PM with Pastor Tim Dillon officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley. Friends may visit with the family from 11AM until service time on Monday at the church. Pallbearers will be family members.
