Virginia Rose Bradley
Born September 5, 1922, in Zenith, WV, she was the daughter of the late Otis H. and Macy Wallace Pyne.
Virginia was a member of the Spruce Run Church of the Brethren and retired from B.F. Goodrich in Pickaway, WV.
She loved gardening, canning, and farming, especially black angus cows. Her favorite hobby was making beautiful quilts to give to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Virginia's greatest accomplishment was being the most loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that anyone could ever have.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley L. Bradley Sr. on February 23, 1967; four brothers, William, Otis Jr., Joseph, and Thomas Pyne; and nine sisters, Ruth Amos, Nelva Raines, Minnie Cole, Eleanor Radford, Lucille Amos, Jean Knight, Sylvia Pyne, Lula Rutherford, and Ilene Williams.
Survivors include two daughters, Sylvia Anderson and Martha Williams and husband Jim; two sons, Harold D. "Benny" Bradley and wife Sara, and Stanley L. "Johnny" Bradley Jr. and wife Debbie, all of Lindside, WV; special son, Wilbur Gooslin of Peterstown, WV; one brother, James Pyne of Fairlea, WV; grandchildren, Crystal Powell and husband Nathan of Cecilia, KY, Mitzi French of Peterstown, WV, Jonathan Bradley and wife Tiffany of Ballard, WV, Jamie Williams of Canton, OH, Andy Williams of Clayton, NC, Jonathan Williams of Stow, OH, Valare Clark of Hurdle Mills, NC, and Maggie Simmons of Lindside, WV; great grandchildren, Whitney Hunt, Austin Hall, Jadyn Bradley, Allie French, Brayden French, Ryder Powell, and Logan Bradley; special friends, Nancy Lafferty, Linda Carter, and Bonnie Galford; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Rodger Boothe officiating. Burial will follow at the Bradley Cemetery in Lindside, with Nathan Powell, Austin Hall, Donald Wilson, Kenny Hines, Devon Taylor, Jason Hedrick, and Warren Ferguson serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Springfield Center Residents Activity Fund (10797 Seneca Trail S. Lindside, WV 24951).
