Some people you never forget after meeting them and Barbara and Emmitt Word are just those you are glad to meet and know.I am so sorry to hear of his passing BUT to know he is with the Lord nothing can compare to going home, forever and forever with Jesus Christ.Praise the Lord, because of Jesus where would we be,he is on the other side waiting for all the rest to follow, and I pray that is exactly what will happen some day.My prayers are with all of you and let the Lord guide you through this heart breaking time here and some day a joyful, glad reunion.God Bless you and Keep all of you in His loving care.

I am so sorry to learn that Emmit has passed away. He was a wonderful person and I always enjoyed going to church with my sister, Audrey, and listening to him preach. I always told him and Barbara that when I first went to their church that I knew that was where I needed to be. My thoughts and prayers are with Barbara and the rest of the family. He suffers no more and is in his Heavenly home now. Audrey and Tim are very happy to be reunited with him. May he rest in peace.
