Hunter Thompson Miller, 12, of Oak Hill, WV, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, OH, from complications after a bone marrow transplant on July 22.
Born August 18, 2004 at Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of Connie J. Backus Miller and Samuel Rueben Miller.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Derrike Samuel Miller; PaPa, James Miller; great grandfather, Mark Miller; and great grandmother, Mildred Backus.
Those who will forever cherish his beautiful memory are his mother, Connie; father, Samuel; brother, Elias James Miller; maternal grandparents, Shelvey and Alice Backus; paternal grandmother, Janet Miller, all of Oak Hill; great grandmother, Frances Miller of Louisville, KY; aunts, Candice Miller of San Francisco, CA, Leslie (Patrick) McClaskey of Charlotte, NC, and Kathy (David) Lauer of Morgantown; cousins, Tabitha (Jared) Hylton and Kaitlin (William) Dick of Columbus, OH, Jonathan Lauer of Morgantown, Garrett Vargo of Oak Hill, and Jayna Vargo of Charlotte, NC; as well as many other family, friends, and teachers who were special in Hunter's life.
Services will be on July 29, 2017 at 2 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Minister Ryan Scott and John Scott officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from noon until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
