Jacqueline Damon, age 52, of Beckley, WV, went home to be with the Lord at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley on Friday, September 15, 2017.
Born on June 8, 1965, in Welch, she was the daughter of the late Geneveve Morgan Blankenship and Eli Blankenship.
Jackie was a homemaker, and attended Freedom Ministries when health allowed. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband of 18 years, Charles Damon; two children, Ambra Hicks of Beckley, and Johnathan Hicks and wife Carrie of Beckley; grandchildren, Aiden Jarrell, Ethan Jarrell, and Nevaeh Hicks; her sister and adopted parents, Marie Farrington and husband James of Midway.
Other sisters include Dinah Sue Helmondollar of Sophia, Kathy Blankenship of Sophia, Susan Williams of Crab Orchard, Brenda Blankenship of Largo, Florida; and two brothers, Chris Blankenship of Beckley, and Pastor Philip Farrington and wife Candice of Crab Orchard.
Funeral services will be conducted at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at noon with Pastor Philip Farrington officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
