Kyle Thomas Dooley Sr. "Buck," age 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, following a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
He was born June 19, 1940, at Gatewood, West Virginia, to Thomas Jennings Dooley "Snooks" and Ada Ruth Fox Dooley.
A 1957 graduate of Fayetteville High School, and a graduate of Bluefield State College with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Buck served in the United States Navy from 1957-1961. He retired from Morgantown National Supply (National Mine Co.) where he worked for 33+ years.
Buck is survived by his wife, Linda Louise Tucker Dooley; a sister, Lenora "Mickey" Dooley Baker and her husband, William, of Morgantown; son, Kyle Thomas Dooley, Jr., of Denver, NC; daughter, Amanda Kay Dooley Seeger and her husband, Roland, of Newton, NC; grandchildren, Ona, Savannah, Joshua and Sophie; a great-grand daughter, Piper.
On Monday, June 26, at 1:00 pm there will be a "Service of Remembrance" at the Melton Mortuary Chapel. Family, friends, and others whose lives Buck touched are invited to visit at the mortuary from 11:00 am until the service hour.
