Barbara Lou Miller Jones, of Fayetteville, was born Dec. 17, 1932 in Oak Hill, she died Feb. 16, 2022 in Fayetteville, WV.

She was preceded in death by parents, Lucille and Palmer Miller; sister, Dolores Sims and her loving husband, Charlie.

Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Renick, son-in-law, Buren Renick II; grandsons, Buren Renick III (Colleen) and Daniel Renick; great-grandsons, Edsel and Haviland; nieces, Tonya Greenwood, Becky Hunt; nephew, Jamie Sims and cousin, Kitty Vaughn.

Barbara graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1950. She was retired from Fayette County National Bank. She was a former member and past president of the Fayetteville Woman's Club and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was of the Methodist faith and baptized in the Oak Hill Methodist Church at 12. She was currently a member of the Fayetteville Alumni Associaton and involved in the "Come On Home Reunion". She was a lover of animals, fed squirrels, birds, rabbits and deer. Other than her two "never to be forgotten" Pekingese, her beloved pets over the years were those that decided they wanted to live in her home.

She loved her family and especially her "Charlie" she loved to read and enjoyed cooking and baking.

Barbara arranged to donate her body to Science in hopes it will help others.

A private family member service will be held at a later date.
