Barbara Marie Taylor, 79 of Summersville died Monday March 21, 2022 in the Ansted Center.
She was the daughter of the late Nora Taylor and was born at Canvas May 11, 1942.
Barbara was a retired insurance agent from Nicholas County Insurance and a former bookkeeper for the Ralph Morris Ford & Jeep dealership.
She was also preceded in death by her brother Wetzel Steven Taylor.
Surviving are her nephews, Wetzel (Annette) Taylor of Canvas and Paul Taylor of Summersville; nieces, Lenora (Douglas) Brown of Midway and April (Paul) Darby of Roanoke, Virginia; great nieces, Autumn Nora Taylor, Ciara Darby and Whittney Holcomb; great-great nieces, Alexis Nguyen and Kinley Holcomb and a great-great nephew, Liam Redden.
In keeping with her wishes, her body was cremated. Memorial services will be conducted at noon on Saturday April 2nd in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville with Pastor Butch Collins officiating. Friends may call at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
