Bonnie Floyd Pruett, 91, of Princeton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 1, 2017.

Born July 3, 1925 in Bluefield, WV; she was a daughter of the late William Edward and Thelma Elizabeth Honaker Floyd.

Bonnie graduated from Bluefield High School and McClean Business College. She retired from Rockwell International and Bluefield Regional Medical Center as a Secretary. She was of the Baptist faith, loved her family, flowers, and when life gave her lemons she always made lemonade.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Victor Pruett and a daughter, Linda Wiley.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughters, Kathy Housh and husband, Randy of Fayetteville and Tracey Hamm and husband, Phillip of Princeton; grandchildren, Justin Shumate, of Bluewell, Courtney Shumate of Fayetteville; step-grandchildren, Seth Housh, Aaron Housh, Farah Housh, and Faith Davis, Brian Wiley and Brent Wiley; great-grandchildren, Shelbi Hardman of Oak Hill and Kallista Shumate of Fayetteville; son-in-law, Sonny Wiley of Princeton; step-children, Keith Pruett and Vicky Pruett.

Services to celebrate the life of Bonnie Floyd Pruett will be held 11 AM Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Princeton with her son-in-law, Randy Housh officiating. Following the service, Bonnie will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Victor at Monte Vista Park Cemetery, Bluefield, WV.

Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.

Friends may gather with the family from 10 AM until time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
