Beckley, WV - Our beloved mother, nana, and friend Christine Bernice Lusk went home to be with Jesus on July 6, 2026, at the age of 87 peacefully at home surrounded by family and loved ones.

Born on November 24, 1938, on Epperly Hill, Raleigh County WV. She was the daughter of late Woodrow Cooper and Garnett Sisk. She was blessed with a large and loving family whom she loved with her whole heart, and loved spending time with.

She was of Christian faith, saved at a very young age, was a long-time member of Sophia Church of God, and found peace reading her Bible daily. She is survived by five daughters and two sons: Debra, Marilyn, Donna (Kippy), Margaret (Big Kenny), John (Nancy), Linda (Darrell), Randall (Jeanie), 79 Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and one brother.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Toy Lusk, daughter Sonia Lively, special grandson Kenneth Kuhn and six siblings.

She would want the world to know that she loved spending time with her girls- Randi, Taylor, and Alexis. As well as her daughter in-law Jeanie whom she lived with for more than 20 years.

Family, loved ones, and friends whose lives she touched are invited to join us as we celebrate her being in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, WV on Tuesday July 14, 2026, at 1:00pm. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial on Harper Road, Beckley, WV.

Family would also like to thank Dr. Kabarra, Dr. Pitsenbarger, and staff at Hospice Home Side for their special care provided.

A very special thanks to her daughters Margaret and Linda and granddaughters Christy and Alexis who provided constant care for her during her final days.
