Darrell Otis Williams, 69, of Beckley passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016.

Born April 29, 1947, in White Oak, he was the son of the late Ronda and Elfie Stover Williams.

Darrell worked for the Raleigh County Board of Education in the maintenance department until his retirement. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and just being outdoors.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Felicia Ames, his grandson Cody Shrewsberry, two great-grandchildren Nathan McGraw Jr. and Nathan McGraw II, 2 brothers Manuel and James Williams, 2 sisters Arlene Norris, and Gladys Dillon.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Yvonne Scarbro Williams, 4 children Patrick Bartley, Donna Williams, Elphie Saxer, and Jessica Williams. 6 grandchildren Nathan McGraw, Savanna Williams, Joseph Coon, Jonathon Bartley, Isabelle Bartley, and Anabelle Bartley. 4 great-grandchildren. 3 brothers Glenn Williams, Joe Williams, and Ross Williams, a host of nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends.

Services will be Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at 1:00pm in the White Oak Church of God in White Oak, with Pastor Jerry Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in the Maynard family cemetery in White Oak.

Friends may gather with the family from noon until service time Tuesday at the church.
