Gaylord Samuel McKinney, 83, of Hinton died Friday, May 26, 2017.
Born in Basin on April 11, 1934, he was the son of the late Roscoe and Emily McKinney.
Gaylord delivered the Register-Herald newspaper for several years and was a member of the Bellepoint Baptist Church in Hinton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Helen Cooper McKinney and three siblings, Ann Miller, Wilma McKinney and Harold McKinney.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Davis, two brothers, George McKinney and David McKinney, and his wife Sue; three nieces.
Services will be held 11 A.M. Friday, June 2, 2017, at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum in Beckley with Pastor Bobby Cales officiating.
Friends may visit with the family Friday from 10:00 AM until the service hour at the cemetery mausoleum.
