Harold was a graduate of Princeton Senior High School, Concord College and West Virginia University College of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctorate in 1991. Harold immediately began practicing law, a career he enjoyed for more than 30 years. He proudly served the citizens of Mercer and surrounding counties. He was a Southern Highlands Mental Hygiene Commissioner and represented the Mercer County Sheriff's Office in estates. He also served as the attorney for the City of Princeton, the Southern Conservation District, The WV Department of Highways, and various other positions. Harold maintained a private law practice during his entire career where he served countless individuals and families with sound legal representation. He was also a big supporter of various community events and fundraisers, giving of his time and money to help improve the quality of life in his community.
Harold was a humble man, never choosing to put himself in the spotlight and often times providing his services for free. Harold could always be counted on to help others, often lending his time and talents to friends in need.
Harold was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying and respecting all wildlife. Harold especially enjoyed hunting and fishing, a passion he shared with his father and his sons. He found great joy in spending time at home. He enjoyed everything from working in the yard and on various building projects to relaxing with a good movie or listening to music. One of Harold's many passions was shooting and reloading, a craft he mastered over many years. He spent much time in and around his garage working on his vehicles, especially spending time working on his drag racing mustang. He found a special joy providing a loving home for his wife Kathy and his son Ethan.
Harold was a master of the grill and took great pride in cooking for his family. He loved taking care of his many animals, providing a great life for them all over the years. Though he enjoyed many activities in and around his home, his true joy was found in spending time with his family. Harold was the most devoted husband and father, never missing opportunities to spend time sharing his hobbies and love for life with his family. Harold was always up for an adventure with his family and left us with many fond memories that will last a lifetime.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Kathy, his mini-me and hope for the future, Ethan Urijah Wolfe of the home, and his son Harold "Bo" Wolfe IV of Mudfork, VA with whom he enjoyed many fishing and hunting trips. He is also survived by his step-father, Virgil Caldwell, his sister-in-laws Diana Belcher and husband Derek, Sherri Delozier and husband Tim "Dodge" and nephew Corbin Hurst and niece Abigail Belcher all of whom he loved to share family vacations and adventures with.
