Rainelle - Hilda J. Davis, 86, of Lawn passed away July 26, 2025, at Rainelle Healthcare Center in Rainelle. She was born on March 16, 1939, in Elton, West Virginia to the late Carmen and Dolly (Vandall) Martin.Hilda was a member of the Laural Branch Free Will Baptist Church. She loved going to church and singing for the Lord. Hilda liked to be in her flower garden and to go to Pigeon Forge and Virginia Beach on special trips.She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Davis; brothers Melvin, Marvin, Alvie, and Rex Martin; and one sister, Violet Pack.Hilda is survived by her daughter Helen (Alfred) Irvin and her son David Davis of Lawn; four sisters, Judy (Dale) Williams and Virginia Williams of Meadow Bridge, Reba Davis of Lawn, and Elma Osborne of Craig.Services will be at Smathers Funeral Chapel, Rainelle, on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 12:00pm with Pastor Greg Scott officiating. The family will receive friends and neighbors one hour prior to the service.
