Hilda Osborne Obituary
Hilda Ann Osborne, 83 years of age, of Mt. Nebo passed away Sunday October 22, 2023 in Summersville Healthcare Center. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence Alan and Maggie Ruth Walker King and was born at Fayetteville March 25, 1940. Hilda was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, square dancing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a Jehovah Witness and volunteered at the Kingdom Hall spreading the Good News of the Bible.
She was also preceded in death by one son David Allen Osborne and siblings William, Bob, Alan King, and Madeline Gwin. Surviving: Husband Don Osborne, Son Teddy Ray Osborne, Summersville;
Daughters Margaret Riffle, Summersville, Kathryn Godwin, North Carolina, Brenda Drennen, Mt. Nebo, Shirley Bays, Mt. Lookout, Maggie Chaney Hurricane; Sister Pat Hutchinson Rose, Summersville; 11 Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren.
Her body was cremated.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday October 28th in the Mt. Lookout Kingdom Hall.
The Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville was in charge of arrangements.
