James Joseph Colbird, 28, of Princeton, died Thursday, January 7, 2021. Born September 7, 1992 in Bluefield he was the son of Angela Dawn Colbird and the late Joseph Leonard Colbird, Jr. James was a graduate of Wyoming East High School, and was a cook at Hardees in Princeton. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Corliss Jean Colbird. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Phoenix Colbird; and son, Conan Blake Colbird; paternal grandfather, Joseph L. Colbird, Sr; maternal grandmother, Nancy Bowen; aunt, Tammy Hill and her children Barry Hill and Candace Hill; former wife, Amber Fralin; girlfriend, Kristin Foley and her daughter, Grace Totter who Jimmy considered his stepdaughter; and numerous cousins and friends who loved him dearly. In keeping with James's wishes he has been cremated and a candlelight vigil will be held at 5:30 PM on Saturday, January 16, 2021 on Bud Mountain at the Colbird-Bell Cemetery.
