Judith Marie Martin 82, of Spring Dale, WV, passed away June 13th, 2024, with her loving family by her side.

Born May 7th, 1942, in Middletown Rainelle, WV. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Robert Forbes and Annabelle Virginia (Neff) Forbes.

Judith had an extended working career as founder, co-owner and managing partner with her late husband, Clifford Martin, of Home Supply Company, Martin Construction, Red Star Utility Trailer Manufacturing, Red Star Hardware and Martin Self-Storage.

Judith also worked as an administrative assistant for Dodson-Hager Ford, WV and UnaDyn and Russell Fink Art Gallery, VA.

Judith was a Christian, saved by Grace. She loved her family and never met a stranger. She was known for her generosity, extending a warm smile and had a welcoming spirit that drew everyone to her.

Survivors include three daughters that share her smile and friendly nature. Debbie Martin, Terri Martin and Cindy Gum (Randy); and nine grandchildren Jacob Martin (Kerri), Holly Guilliams (Junior), Melanie Willams, Megan Palko (Pete); Elizabeth Bruchhauser, Alexander Bruchhauser, Benjamin Bruchhauser, Preston Redden and Ayden Redden; 13 great-grandchildren; Darnell (Ruth) Forbes, Dolly Walkup (Bob), Patty (late Darrell) Forbes, 6 nieces and 1 nephew as well a host of extended loving family and friends.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 52 Years, Clifford Lowell Martin, brother Darrell Thomas Forbes and granddaughter Cassey Marie Boone.

Services will be at 3 pm Wednesday, June 19th, at Smathers Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Matthew Taylor officiating.

Burial will follow in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.

Friends may call one hour before the service from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
