Mary Arlene Sizemore, 91, of Princeton, formerly of Wyoming County, was ushered into the arms of her Lord and Savior Monday evening, April 23, 2018 from the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.
Born February 16, 1927 at Dott, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Ruth Mills Combs.
Throughout her life, Mary served as a caregiver to many people in Wyoming & Mercer County. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and most of all to her Lord and Savior. Mary was a long-time member of Sweet Home Baptist Church and in her later years, attended Maranatha Baptist Church in Princeton.
While her health permitted, she was a gardener, quilter and an avid reader. Mary never met a stranger and was known for her making jelly and apple butter. She always looked forward going to the Senior Citizen Center in Princeton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Emmett Sizemore; siblings, Cloyd "Butch" Combs, Raymond and Mary Combs, James Combs.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Those left to cherish her memory, her three loving children, Nancy and Allen Lindsay, Pam and Ernie Riffe, Gail and Jackie Conner four grandchildren, Brian and Danielle Jones, Jason Conner, Henry and Heather Riffe, Aaron and Paula Riffe; seven great-grandchildren, Campbell, Charlotte, Noah, Mason, Emma, Carter, Samantha; sister-in-law Jeanette Combs; three very close friends, Billie Wall, Elvia McKinney and cousin Versie Gunter.
A service of celebration will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, April 27, 2018 at Maranatha Baptist Church on the Oakvale Road, Princeton, with Pastor Marvin Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Friends may call Friday from Noon until the service hour at the church.

Sons-in-law and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
