Maxine Ann Moten Coyer, 78, of Jumping Branch went home to be with the Lord, February 27, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born November 18, 1944, at Slab Fork, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charley Lewis Moten and Roxie Jane Lilly Moten.
Maxine had worked at Inland Mutual Insurance in Huntington and the Coast to Coast Motel in Hinton. She was a faithful member of the Nimitz Missionary Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters; Edna Eades-Gillen and husband Walter of Hinton, and Wanda Dillon of Jumping Branch; a brother, Charles Moten of Jumping Branch; a niece, Rebecca Dillon Rine and husband Josh of Charlotte, NC; two nephews, Richard Eades of Hinton, and Christopher Dillon and wife Tara of Jumping Branch; two great nephews, Logan Rine and Triton Dillon, and a great niece, Dillon Rine.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the Nimitz Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Don Hannah officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of services Thursday at the Nimitz Missionary Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Johnny and Zachary Bowling, Greg Angell, Jim Price, Walter Gillen, and Joey Cox.
