West Virginia - Rowena Miano "Row" Harman, 69, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away at Roanoke Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at 1:15 PM surrounded by her beloved family and friends. Row was born in Welch, WV, March 24, 1950, to the late Charlie and Wilma Kennedy Miano. She was a retired Principal at the Anthony Correctional Center in White Sulphur Springs. She was of the Catholic faith. She was a graduate of Gary High School, earned her B.S. Degree in Education at Bluefield State College and her Master's Degree in Education from Marshall University. Prior to working at the Anthony Correctional Facility she was the first female electrician in West Virginia hired by U.S. Steel to work in their cleaning plant. In addition to her parents, her husband, Walter Harman, preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory include her three sisters, Donna Chinsolo and husband Morse of Welch, Charlene Dubetz and husband John of Chatum, IL, and Bonita Miano of Princeton. She is also survived by the following nephew and nieces: Mike Chinsolo, Megan Pederson and husband Eric and their son Benjamin, Kelsey Stuckey and husband Andy and their daughter, Kaylee, and Chantell Saulsbury and husband Eric and their children Miya and Keegan. She is also survived by a special cousin, Josey Miano, and a special friend, Dianne Warren. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Rowena will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2019 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Deacon Don Hammond officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2019. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the McDowell County Humane Society, P.O.
