Stanley Lee Cadle, 76 years of age, of Craigsville, died Sunday, May 26, 2024, in the Summersville Regional Medical Center.

He was the son of the late Emery Lacy and Elizabeth Ann Schoolcraft Cadle and was born in Nicholas County February 23, 1948.

Stanley was a former concrete foreman and construction worker. He later retired from the Nicholas County Board of Education as a Beaver Elementary School teacher.

Stanley was a pastor, elder and member of the Zions Rest Primitive Baptist Church at Craigsville.

Surviving are his wife, Vicki Waldorf Cadle; sons: Jonathan Mark Cadle (Martha Weber) of Charles Town, Jason Preston Lacy Cadle (Leigh) of Fredrick, Maryland; daughters, Jennifer Ellen Cadle of Huntington and Janis Marie Cadle of Baltimore, Maryland; a brother, Aaron Cadle Madison, North Carolina; sister, Thanna Farley of Parkersburg. Grandchildren, Morgan Ashlea, Nathan Wynn, Jacob Emery, Devonte Leon and Joshua Adam. Great Grandchildren, August Leon and Sylvia Ann.

Much appreciation for all of the care and concern for Stanley and family given by the ICU department of the Summersville Regional Medical Center and the nurses and caregivers from Carewell Association.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday June 1st in the Zions Rest Primitive Baptist Church at Craigsville with Elder Gary Utz, Elder John Nichols and Elder Joe Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
